Australia and New Zealand Product Recall Withdrawal Form
 |
Ingredient suppliers, food manufacturers, wholesalers, and importers can initiate recall and withdrawal notifications by completing a paper based standardised form and issuing to impacted trade partners by facsimile or email.
The standardised form was developed by ECRA in 2005 and can be downloaded free of charge.

GS1 Recallnet
|
Following the success of the standardised form GS1 Australia in conjunction with ECRA and key stakeholders developed GS1Recallnet as a whole of industry solution for the efficient management of recalls and withdrawal notifications in the sector.
Launched in 2011, ingredient suppliers, food manufacturers, wholesalers, and importers can initiate recall and withdrawal notifications online via a secure dedicated web portal powered by GS1 Australia, a not-for-profit organisation. Those wishing to use GS1 Recallnet will need to pre-register and pay an annual subscription. ECRA encourages the industry to consider participating in the GS1Recallnet service.
GS1 New Zealand are currently progressing the implementation of a portal, further information will be available shortly.
