Loss Prevention/Shrinkage
Throughout 2009 and 2010 an ECRA Loss Prevention Group consisting of Retailers, Wholesalers and Suppliers to high risk categories worked together to develop several guides, tools and case studies aimed at assisting the broader industry in its efforts to address shrinkage. The output of the groups work is made available though the documents and information linked to this website.
Shrinkage reduction offers a great opportunity for trading partners to collaborate in order to drive out cost and better serve the needs of shoppers and consumers. This has been an area which ECR has keenly addressed over several years in both Europe and Australasia. Many of the items linked to this website have been the result of collaboration between business partners under the stewardship of ECR globally. The Board of ECRA and the ECRA Loss Prevention Group trust that the information and insight provided here act as a catalyst to greater collaboration and improved business results for all parties.
