On-Shelf Availability Seminar - 12 November 2008
Efficient Consumer Response Australasia held a Breakfast Seminar at Rydges Hotel in Melbourne on November 12, 2008. The highlight of the seminar was the official launch of the report “The On-Shelf Availability Challenge 2007-2008”. This report captures the findings of a major industry wide survey of managers in Australia and New Zealand to understand their perspectives on issues relating to On-Shelf Availability (OSA) of products to grocery shoppers
Senior Executives from the Supplier and Retailer communities addressed the topic of OSA at the seminar, and Accenture presented the findings the abovementioned survey and introduced the report. A panel discussion followed with insightful questions from the delegates.
The recommendations flowing from the On-Shelf Availability Challenge 2007-2008 report have now formed the foundation for ongoing activity under the topic of On Shelf Availability for ECRA during 2009 and 2010.
