Local On-Shelf Availability
The following resources have been developed by ECRA in conjunction with leading Australian retailers and suppliers.
ECRA will continue to work on the issue of on-shelf availability and further publications will be posted in due course.

The latest Winning in January 2011 Review is the culmination of the industry focus for 2009, 2010 and 2011 providing a fact based set of key industry results, findings and next steps.

In 2010 attention has turned to the availability of products on promotion, tagged Winning with Promotions, this project examined the impacts on the value chain of promoted products with the industry working collaboratively to find ways to maximise responsiveness and flexibility across the value chain.
During 2009 the focus was narrowed to a specifically Australian issue of product availabiity during the month of January, with a series of publications under the banner Winning in January.
The 2008 report acted as a catalyst to further work completed in 2009 which provides companies with a framework, both for their organisation and with trading partners to address out of stocks (OOS), The On-Shelf Availability Roadmap.

In 2008 the Board commissioned a survey of industry aimed at reporting on the current status of On-Shelf Availabity (OSA) levels and the adoption of the 2001 report recommendations, The OSA Challenge.
In 2001 ECRA developed A Guide to Efficient Replenishment and Reducing Stock Outs. The objective of the guide was to provide a useful reference point for companies to improve replenishment and product availability.
